Meet Alexis

I am a lifelong Nevadan, a proud graduate of Clark County public schools, and now a mother raising my children in the same community that shaped me.
Growing up in a union household with immigrant roots, I learned the values of hard work, sacrifice, and solidarity. My dad provided for us as a union carpenter and my mom as CCSD support staff, showing me the dignity of working families.
Those lessons stayed with me as I became a young mom, worked my way through school, and started a career in public service at the Clark County District Attorney’s Office.
Along the way, I became a union steward and now serve as Chief Steward with SEIU 1107, fighting for fair wages, better healthcare, and stronger protections for working people.
